The Beaufort Players drama group was founded in 1962 and over the years has staged a wide variety of plays from pantomime, comedy and farce to thrillers, dramas and historical productions and have also won numerous awards. In fact some of those awards have been won for plays written by our own members so if you fancy a bash at script writing then we're the group for you and as well as acting if you're interested in backstage, directing or other you are equally welcome. Membership is open to anyone over 18 (regardless of acting ability) Most of our group members are aged mid 20s to 40s however we are always looking for members of varying ages. We are a lively, sociable group who like to work hard and play hard so regularly organise social events from pub nights, to theatre trips to weekends away and over the past couple of years we've had more than one Beaufort wedding!
